Printer Friendly Version NOTICE on the temporary closure of certain border crossings between the Republic of Serbia and Romania @ 12 March 2020 10:48 AM

On March 11 the Serbian government passed new measures in order to prevent the emergence and spread of the infectious disease COVID-19 and suppress it. In this scope, starting from March 12 at 7:00 am, international road traffic is being diverted to major border crossings, whereas 44 border crossings will be temporarily closed on all borders of the Republic of Serbia.

Border crossings between Republic of Serbia and Romania temporary closed are:

Road: Vrbica - Vălcani, Nakovo - Lunga, Jaša Tomić - Foeni, Kaluđerovo - Najdaș, Đerdap II - Porcile de fier II

Railway: Kikinda – Jimbolia

River: Golubac – Moldova Nouă, Kladovo – Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Donji Milanovac- Svinjica, Tekija-Oršava

International traffic runs smoothly at the border crossings points which are opened 24 hours per day: Srpska Crnja – Jimbolia, Vatin - Stamora Moravița and Đerdap I - Porcile de fier I.

The temporary ban on entry into Serbia for foreign nationals coming from Italy, Iran, Switzerland (the Canton of Ticino), the People's Republic of China (the Hubei Province) and the Republic of Korea (the city of Daegu and the North Gyeongsang Province) remains in effect.
