Laying wreaths to commemorate the Day of heroes in Timisoara @ 13 June 2016 01:16 PM
On the occasion the Day of heroes 08.06.2016. in the center of Timisoara in front of the Monument to the crucifixion, in the presence of the highest religious and local officials led by County Prefect of Timis, chairman of the County Council and the mayor of Timisoara marked the national holiday with a ceremony, parade Guard and holding memorial perished heroes. On behalf of the Consular Corps, chaired by Consul General (on vacation), he laid the wreath consul.
After the ceremony in the city center, meaning killed heroes was held at the Cemetery of heroes in Timisoara, where wreaths were also laid the highest local officials. Commemorative significance wreaths were laid at the monument to the Romanian heroes killed in the revolution in 1989, as well as monuments to Romanian, Soviet, German, French and Serbian soldiers killed in the First and Second World War.
At the monument to fallen Yugoslav pilots killed in 1941 along with appropriate military honors accompanied by Consul wreaths were laid by the prefect of Timis county, County Council President and Vice President of the County Council.
As a reminder, the hero of the day is traditionally celebrated in Timisoara commemorative ceremonies witnessed by senior military, police officials and veterans of the revolution and their family members and numerous citizens.
